Spongebob snail mail11/9/2022 It doesn't make that episode or this one any better though. I hate this trope so much you know exactly what the mistake is but the character is too fucking stupid to get it.Ĥ.) the reference to Oral Report was subtle but nicely placed. Spongebob reads the letter M upside down and immediately wreaks havoc and starts assuming everyone's going to die or something. They pulled a similar thing with the one about the W MILD ones in Born to be Wild. 2.) They act as though Spongebob cant fly at all. If he had read both pages, this wouldn't have been such a fucking issue. You can tell they knew The Sponge was an earlier premise but they kept working on this anyway. He reads about half of Patrick's letter before getting his pants in a twist and freaking out. Don't act like this story takes place before that one because spongebob ends up crashing the plane at the end of Snail Mail anyway.ģ.) Spongebob can't fucking read. In the episode Sandcastles in the Sand, spongebob perfectly pilots a sand-fighter jet, dodging missiles and using them to destroy Patrick's base of operations. You can tell they knew The Sponge was an earlier premise but they kept working on this anyway.Ģ.) They act as though Spongebob can't fly at all. Then we get back to this episode, and everyone has completely forgotten that this actually happened. I hate that episode because of the Bottomites treating Spongebob like dirt when he puts a hair dryer into his pants and starts to fly. Please note that here are SPOILERS THROUGHOUT THIS RANT!ġ.) The entire episode is an annoying allusion to The Sponge who could Fly. It is full of continuity errors that the writers put into the story specifically to get at the people that have seen the earlier episodes, it's loud and annoying, and it should not exist.
